About Regina

Regina grew up in public housing and attended public schools.  She worked in a managerial role for NYC Transit until retirement and has more than thirty years of experience in policy development, grievance and arbitration, interpreting collective bargaining agreements, budget allocations, compliance, civic engagement, and small business ownership.    


Regina believes literacy is critical to individual well-being and she is passionate about helping children and families have access to resources they need to live in today's economy.  

 

As a member of District Council 37, Local 2627, Regina served as shop steward during her tenure at the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission where she built up and maintained a strong discipline and informed membership at the workplace. While on Stockbridge City Council Regina developed a Citizen’s Academy to provide a better understanding between citizens and government through education. She also advocated for upgrades to public parks to include adaptive playground equipment. Regina chaired the City of Stockbridge Public Safety Committee and reviewed recommendations for public safety policies relating to the health, safety, and welfare of families living in Georgia.    


Regina earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in computer systems from Bernard M. Baruch College and Master of Arts, with a concentration in political science, from Clayton State University.   


Regina and her husband are members of Global Impact Christian Ministries.
